My journey begins here

It's now December 2022 and 2023 is almost upon us: a new year and for me personally it's the start of something very different.

 

Firstly, after 47 years working, and running my own PR company for over 36 years, I have made the potentially life-changing decision to retire full time. Yes the "R" word!

 

Secondly, events during 2022 made me look more closely at addressing my current work/life balance and to make choices that enhance my personal life.

 

I have always been a wordsmith all my working life, words mean a great deal to me and it just made sense for me to record how a guy 69 years young, after a lifetime working full-time, meets the challenges of retirement and how it affects what I choose to do in this next exciting stage of my life.

 

That's enough for now. My journey begins here. I hope you will start to enjoy this blog as much as I will enjoy the experiences that I will be writing about over the next weeks, months and years!
