To celebrate the arrival of 2024, I happened to be in Playa Blanca on the southernmost tip of Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands.
To be honest, it's not a bad place to be to bring in the new year festivities and on this occasion the weather was particularly good, with daily temperatures reaching about 25 to 26 degrees C, which is better than normal for this time of year.
Although I have been to Playa Blanca many times, it's the first time that I have actually stayed there for more than a day trip. In fact, I spent 4 days in total in the resort, staying in a really nice hotel, which was walking distance to the promenade, main beaches and restaurants.

After my time here, I then moved up the east coast of Lanzarote, approximately 25 mins north to the resort of Puerto Del Carmen for the rest of my January stay, details of which I will cover in a separate post shortly.
